Ambassador presented the Letter of Credentials to the
President of the Republic of Croatia
On
February, 9, 2007, at 11.00 a.m, Indonesian Ambassador
to Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Macedonia,
H. E Mangasi Sihombing presented the Letter of
Credentials to the President of the Republic of Croatia
, Mr. Stjepan Mesic. On the same day, 3 Ambassadors from
other countries, such as Ghana, Lithuania and Qatar also
presented the letter of credentials to the President of
the Republic of Croatia. On that occassion, the
Indonesian Ambassador is accompanied by
his spouse, First Secretary of Politic Affairs,
Mr. Octavino Alimudin and Third Secretary of Information
and Socio Cultural Affairs, Ms. Ingan Malem.
The
process of presenting the letter of credentials began
when the Croatian Protocol Officer escorted the
Ambassador to travel with the official car to the
Presidential Palace at 10.30 a.m. On
the arrival at the Palace, the Ambassador saluted the
Presidential’s guard and welcomed by the Chief of the
Protocol of the President.
During
the presentation of credential, the Indonesian
Ambassador conveyed the warmest regard from the
President of the Republic
of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono and confirmed the good will of
Indonesia
to maintain the friendship relation between the two
countries and extend the cooperation in various sectors.
In his
replying speech, President Stjepan Mesic stated his
satisfaction of the good bilateral cooperation between
the two countries and the potential cooperation which
has to be further explored and deepened. For that
reason, President Stjepan Mesic conveyed his readiness
to visit Indonesia and meet with President Mr. Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono on the certain time.
