18 HUNGARIAN STUDENTS WHO WERE GRANTED DARMASISWA SCHOLARSHIP WILL GO TO INDONESIA

On  August, 15th 2007, Indonesian Ambassador, H.E. Mangasi Sihombing welcomed 132 out of 18 new students from Hungary who were granted Darmasiswa scholarship from Indonesian Government.

The students1 received valuable advise and support from H. E. Mangasi Sihombing. They will fly to Jakarta  at the beginning of  September 2007 to join the Darmasiswa

Scholarsip from the Department of National Education for almost one year.  Their study programmes cover Indonesian Language, Indonesian Traditional Dances, Social Culture and Photography.   Some of them, had followed this program several years ago.  This indicates the strong interest of Hungarian students with Indonesian culture and society.

Hungary has been participated in the Darmasiswa Scholarship program since 1992 and more than 120 students had joined the scholarship.  Some of the alumni had been publishing their work concerning Indonesia such as Mr. Acs Laszló who wrote books about Indonesia culture and tourism
