The
Charge d’ Affaires ad interim of the Embassy
Met
with Fifteen participants of Darmasiswa
scholarship
academic
year 2006/2007
from
Hungary and Bosnia Herzegovina
before
they are leaving for Indonesia
On
August 3, 2006, at the Indonesian Embassy in Budapest,
15 participants of Darmasiswa scholarship for academic
year 2006/2007 from Hungary and Bosnia Herzegovina were
received by the Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy
before they are leaving for Indonesia. In that
occasion, orientation was given to them by Charges
d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy as an
appreciation for their selection to the program. Orientation
included several advices on living in Indonesia and the
need for the receivers of Darmasiswa Scholarship to
quickly adapt to the local culture and tradition. It
is hoped that the introduction on Indonesian language
which was given by the Embassy for 1,5 months, will help
them following all the program and getting use to live
in Indonesia. It is expected that after returning
to Hungary, the receivers of Dharmasiswa scholarship
could take an active role in promoting Indonesian
culture to the people of Hungary, as well as to the
people Bosnia Herzegovina.
Darmasiswa
scholarship has been awarded to the citizens of Hungary
since 1993. Presently, there are more than 100
alumni of Darmasiswa scholarship that actively help
Indonesian Embassy in Budapest to enhance
social-cultural relations between Indonesia-Hungary and
promote Indonesian art and culture to the people of
Hungary.
