VISA ISSUANCE PROCESS AND PROCEDURES

 

  1. Due to the alteration of visa issuance process and procedure, Indonesian Embassy informs all visa applicants as follows:

  2. The consular/visa hours: Monday – Friday (09.00 – 12.00 CET)

  3. Commencing from 1 March 2004, the process of visa application that has met the requirements will be finished within 5 (five) working days.

  4. Please read the application form carefully and fill it up completely by using block letters. Application form available at the Embassy and its Website: www.indonesia.hu

  5. Improper/poor contents of form and incomplete enclosed-requirements will cause pending of the  process.

VISA SERVICES

 

I. Journalist VISA


A journalist who wishes to make coverage in Indonesia must have a journalist visa. For that, a journalist must apply for journalist visa at Indonesian Embassy. Procedures of applying for journalist visa are as follows:

 

  1. Fill up Visa Application Form and signed

  2. 2 (two) copies of passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Indonesia).

  3. 2 (two) passport sized photographs

  4. A written statement from the bureau to which journalist works for, certifying the objective, place and duration of visit (for the duration of visit, please state from what date until what date journalist will stay in Indonesia).

  5. The resume / curriculum vitae on persons who are involved in journalist activities, including reporter, cameraman, etc.

  6. A written statement explaining the program/rubric they will make.

  7. A written statement detailing the equipment that will be brought along (please state the name, detailed qualification and amount of item) and state that you will re-export all the equipment upon the completion of making coverage when leaving Indonesia).

  8. Sign statements (No. 4, 5, 6, and 7) related to journalist activities published by the Embassy.

 

For anyone who wishes to make a film in Indonesia, he/she also must have a journalist visa. Procedures of applying visa for those who wish to make a film are as follows:

 

  1. Fill up Visa Application Form and signed

  2. 2 (two) copies of passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Indonesia).

  3. 2 (two) passport sized photographs

  4. A written statement certifying the objective, place and schedule of shooting and the resume / curriculum vitae on persons who are involved in the filming including actors, actresses, cameraman etc.

  5. A written statement explaining the synopsis of the film.

  6. A written statement detailing the equipment that will be brought along (please state the name, detailed qualification and amount of item) and state that you will re-export all the equipment upon the completion of filming when leaving Indonesia).

  7. Sign statements (No. 4, 5, and 6) related to filming published by the Embassy.

 

The Embassy will forward the above-mentioned documents to our central government in Jakarta for their consideration. If the central government accepts your application, the Embassy will process the visa. (For details, please contact the visa section).
