VISA ISSUANCE PROCESS AND PROCEDURES

 

  1. Due to the alteration of visa issuance process and procedure, Indonesian Embassy informs all visa applicants as follows:

  2. The consular/visa hours: Monday – Friday (09.00 – 12.00 CET)

  3. Commencing from 1 March 2004, the process of visa application that has met the requirements will be finished within 5 (five) working days.

  4. Please read the application form carefully and fill it up completely by using block letters. Application form available at the Embassy and its Website: www.indonesia.hu

  5. Improper/poor contents of form and incomplete enclosed-requirements will cause pending of the  process.

VISA SERVICES

 

H. Temporary Stay VISA

 

A temporary stay visa is good for a single entry and presented within 3 (three) months after the date of issuance. Maximum length of stay for a temporary stay visa is 1 (one) year, not exceeding the validity of the applicant’s passport, and granted only upon receiving of the authorisation letter from the Directorate General of Immigration Affairs in Jakarta.

Temporary Stay Visa is given to regular passport holders wanting to stay in Indonesia for either of the following purposes:

 

  1. Foreign Investment

  2. As the expert staff of private company or government company

  3. As religion missionary

  4. To attend the educational or training programme or science research

  5. To join with the husband of Indonesian  citizen

  6. To join with the parents for the underage children

  7. To join with the husband who has working permanent or temporarily stay permit in Indonesia

  8. To join the parents who has working permanent or temporarily stay permit in Indonesia

  9. Repatriation for ex Indonesian citizen

 

Requirements:

  1. Fill up the application form and signed

  2. 2 (two) passport sized photographs. Photographs of children travelling on their parent's passport must also be attached to the application form.

  3. Passport travel document still valid for minimum of 18 (eighteen) months from the date of arrival in Indonesia.

  4. A complete and updated curriculum vitae

  5. A sponsor or an invitation letter from his/her counterpart in Indonesia and/or a recommendation from the company he/she is working for and/or a reference from his/her relatives, friends or social organisation sponsoring the visit and stating the purpose of the visit.

  6. The applicant who will join husband / parent staying in Indonesia with semi permanent permit, please enclose the photo copy of certificate of marriage, certificate of birth, Health Certificate, Letter of good conduct.

  7. The applicant who does in research, social and education, religion, please enclose letter of recommendation issued by authorised Department.

  8. The applicant who will work in frame of foreign investment, domestic investment program or for the expert in frame' of technical assistant program, please enclose letter of recommendation and approved plan in using expatriate man-power issued by the technical department, the Department of Manpower, and the Investment Co-ordinating Board, and a copy of the letter of agreement to employ foreign labour.

  9. For repatriation purpose, please enclose the former nationality evidence/ papers and life expenses guarantee.

  10. Written approval from the Directorate General of Immigration Jakarta
