ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF INDONESIAN RESOURCE
PAVILION
AT ASIA CENTER, BUDAPEST
On
March 23-26, 2007, Indonesian Embassy and ITPC
in cooperation with Asia Center organized serial
of activities to celebrate one year anniversary
of Indonesian Resource Pavilion at Asia Center
Budapest. On this occasion the Pavilion was
redesigned and the products former exhibited
were replaced by commodities of 40 exporters
from Indonesia. In the framework of the
anniversary during four days the Indonesian
Cultural Groups performed cultural performances
and there was also set fashion show along with
traditional dances and music.
At
the opening ceremony H. E Mangasi Sihombing,
Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia
addressed the attendants and opened the
celebration. Mr. Rudolf Riedl, General Manager
of Asia Center and State Secretary of the
Ministry of Economy and Transport, Mr. Abel
Garamhegyi also delivered speeches and whished
successful cooperation for business communities
of Indonesia and Hungary. It is fervently hoped
that by the existence of Indonesian Pavilion,
the business, investment and tourism
opportunities, the mutual benefits, will be
increased between Indonesia and Hungary. At the
opening ceremony, it was also signed the
agreement cooperation among Asia Center
Budapest, represented by Mr. Rudolf Riedl, ITPC
Budapest, represented by Mr. Muchlis Sjahminan,
and Asia Center Budapest in Indonesia,
represented by Mrs. Ita Y. Djoemhana. The
signing ceremony also witnessed by Mrs. Tresna
Jero Wacik, as the representative from
Indonesian National Handicraft Board.
At
the closing of the Indonesian serial activities
in Asia Center was held Trader’s Day, where
Indonesian Ambassador, H. E Mangasi Sihombing
had a presentation on prospect of development of
the economic relations between Indonesia and
Hungary. This event was attended by Hungarian
businessmen and some Indonesian businessmen as
well. At the event, it was also organized one on
one meeting between Indonesian businessmen and
foreign businessmen at Asia Center.
