INDONESIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED THE LETTER OF
CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF
HUNGARY
On February, 2, 2007, at 10.30 a.m, Indonesian
Ambassador to Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia
Herzegovina and Macedonia, H. E Mangasi
Sihombing presented the Letter of Credentials to
the President of the Republic of Hungary, Laszlo
Solyom at Sandor Palace. On the same day, 4
Ambassadors from other countries, such as Greek,
Sweden, Albania, and Croatia also presented the
letter of credentials to the President of
Hungary. On that occassion, the Indonesian
Ambassador is accompanied by a spouse, First
Secretary of Politic Affairs, Octavino Alimudin
and First Secretary of Consular Affairs, Arena
Sri Victoria.
The process of presenting the letter of
credentials began by
Chief of Protocol, Zsofita Trombitas
called
the Ambassador entourage in the Ambassador
Residence to travel with the official cars to
the Sandor Palace at 10.00 a.m. On the arrival
at the Sandor Palace, the Ambassador alights and
is met by the commander of the Garrison. The
ambassador escorted by the Commander of the
Garrison walks down the red carpet to inspect
the Regimental Standard.
During the presentation of credential, the
Indonesian Ambassador conveyed the warmest
regard from the President of the Republic of
Indonesia,
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and confirmed the good
will of Indonesia to maintain the friendship
relation between the two countries and extend
the cooperation in various sectors. For that
reason, H.E Laszlo Solyom kindly welcomed the
initiative to develop the mutual beneficial
relation, especially in economic and socio
cultural. At the audience chamber, the President
of the Republic of Hungary is accompanied by the
Chief of Foreign Policy Advisor, Mr. Andras
Gulyas, and Director General of the Asia Pacific
Region, Mr. Erno Bohar.
After presenting the Credentials and having
private conversation, the Ambassador and his
entourage went to the Heroes’ Square for wreath
laying ceremony. Beside the Hungarian
participants, a number of Indonesian society
also witnessed the ceremony.
