INDONESIA PARTICIPATED IN ZAGREB INTERNATIONAL
AUTUMN FAIR 2007
On
11-16 September 2007, Indonesia Trade Promotion
Center (ITPC) Budapest in cooperation with the
Indonesian Embassy in Budapest organized the
Indonesian Pavilion in the 83rd
Zagreb International Autumn Fair 2007 in Zagreb,
Croatia. There were 9 foreign countries beside
Indonesia such as Slovenia, Serbia, Austria,
Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Sri Lanka,
Germany and Turkey participating in one of the
biggest International Fair, in South East
Europe.
On
11 September 2007 the Zagreb Autumn Fair
was officially opened by the President of
Croatia, Stjepan Mesic and attended by
businessmen, industrialists, officials of the
Government of Croatia and the diplomatic corps.
The Indonesia Pavilion width 15 m2
was designed as an information stand and was
decorated by Indonesian ornaments. It provided
data service for foreign businessmen who have
intention to have business contact with their
counterpart from Indonesia or who wish to obtain
Indonesian products. The Indonesian stand also
contained sample products such as jewellery,
cooking ingredients and medicines made in
Indonesia. More than 20 businessmen showed
their interest making cooperation with Indonesia
in many fields like cosmetics, soap, tobacco and
furniture.
Indonesian Ambassador to Croatia, H.E. Mangasi
Sihombing also attended the opening of the
Zagreb Fair. In some occasions the Indonesian
Ambassador also discussed the Indonesian trade
promotion at the Indonesia Pavilion with the
businessmen and visitors of the fair, giving his
suggestion in creating business relations. In
his explanation the Indonesian Ambassador
reiterated that Indonesia is an ideal partner to
do investment in many industrial sectors and
also in the field of trade commodity.
Indonesian export commodities have many
variations with high quality and at a
competitive price.
